Working at the GoodTime Centre brings my two passions together: multimedia and motorcycles. I create the store’s social media posts and videos, process big batches of motorcycle photos through Lightroom, and work in sales directly with customers.

Freelancing is hard in every way they warn you about. You’re the whole company: you talk to the client, do the work, handle the revisions and everything in between. But it taught me the business side of multimedia, from invoicing and time management to client relationships and how to actually deliver.

My time at the CRTC was packed with learning. It was my first taste of a big office environment, and I had to figure out how the whole chain works, from administration on up. I polished my coding skills there while helping take care of the CRTC website.

Pixel is where I found my love of video editing. Everyone in the office had a specific role, and we had to work together to ship a complete product. I learned the full Adobe suite there, along with teamwork habits I still lean on every day.
